Warehousing at RFT Logistics is primarily about practical support, with pallet storage playing a central role. Whether you have one pallet or a large quantity (say hundreds) of pallets, whether it's for a few days or for months, we provide that space and those possibilities. Our warehousing services are based on flexibility and are largely focused on what can be done.
What exactly can there be, then?
We prefer to keep things simple and clear. That means we don't use difficult terms or implement complicated processes. You call us, you have a batch of goods (these could be palletized goods, but also wooden length products). Then we'll talk.
We ask about your volume, about the period during which you will use warehousing, and we ask what else you need from us. You will get in return a dry, clean, safe and protected storage environment. If you have loose items, we agree that we can, for example, place them on pallets as an extra service; that is also possible.

Our experience and expertise go far beyond just “storing things.” You can make arrangements with us to store your goods for the long term, but at the same time you can count on us to have your goods ready quickly again if you need them tomorrow or within a few days.
In short: we think along with you and move along with you too! That is the most important thing in our field. We have one large warehousing location in the Netherlands, near our transport department and close to our crossdock. A place that is well-structured, and at the same time a place where we can move goods accurately and responsibly, so that you can access them quickly. We will spare you the frustrations of a too rigid, unchanging sector.
Difference between warehousing and cross-docking
In our industry, the rule is: if you have storage space and enough people? Then besides warehousing you can also contribute in the field of crossdocking (putting what comes in back into transport as quickly as possible). Conversely, that's more difficult: if you don't have a warehouse, it's not possible to quickly realize cross-docking either.
RFT Logistics offers both possibilities, where warehousing in the Netherlands concerns long goods, palletized goods, and products that do not require an extra permit (ADR storage is not possible, ADR transport of course is). You determine the moment when we should have them ready for the next step.

No hidden fees or percentages along the way, but a complete cost overview for every possible service that belongs to our warehousing approach. Of course, we would like to know in advance how your shipment is packaged. We prefer products that are palletized, or can be palletized. And it's always nice if you have your own forklift when we come on-site to load or unload. We can always load/unload the pallets with the help of a loading ramp.
