Of course we take into account the rules that apply in France regarding transport. Unlike the Netherlands, it is appreciated that transport in France stops on Sundays. And where in the Netherlands vehicles may weigh up to 50 tons, transport to France may weigh up to 40 tons.
Generally, the same rules apply in both the Netherlands and France, because both countries fall under the CMR Convention. It contains agreements that the countries involved have made with each other regarding international and professional transport. Also the rules on liability, the mandatory bill of lading and (damage) claims are laid down in this convention.

Of course, we would like to know in advance how your shipment is packaged. We prefer products that are palletized, or can be palletized. And it's always nice if you have your own forklift when we come on-site to load or unload. We can always load/unload the pallets with the help of a loading ramp.
