Expedition
The local network of RFT Logistics is large and close-knit. We are happy to help various distributors and colleagues by continually thinking in terms of transport solutions. If we have spare capacity in our trucks, we ensure that we can take on external freight with us, on the way to any final destination. And conversely, we can also rely on long-standing partners and suppliers!
Expedition: the outsourcing of shipments
In Roosendaal (at the Tussenriemer) we collect goods, in whatever (larger) configurations. And they are often put into transport via our own trucks. We are good at this, because we have a dedicated team of drivers and office staff. We coordinate the operation and are always the point of contact beforehand, during and afterwards.
However, it also happens that we outsource shipments and engage a fixed partner to arrange the transport via another distributor. We do not use our own RFT trucks for this, but instead make use of available space in the vehicles of fellow companies, usually from our own area.
Ambitions in freight forwarding and transport
Our ambitions here are clear: we want to grow even more in this area. To that end, we will further expand collaborations with our partners. This will enable us to realize more international transport over time across various (West-)European countries.
We strive to completely relieve our customers of worry for every destination in Europe. We handle the documentation and administration, contact our transport partners directly, and coordinate the transport and handling. That is freight forwarding in our eyes!

Of course, we would like to know in advance how your shipment is packaged. We prefer products that are palletized, or can be palletized. And it's always nice if you have your own forklift when we come on-site to load or unload. We can always load/unload the pallets with the help of a loading ramp.
Our transparency and the fact that we always seek a solution, even if it is unconventional, have taken us a long way in the past, and we are eager to continue doing so with even more intensity!
