Length storage
What is less feasible in the Netherlands, but is possible with us, is length storage and the associated handling. The founder of RFT Logistics, Ron Feijns, took over a warehouse at Borchwerf in 2017. This warehouse is located right next to our office. It remains the ideal place to unload, store and lay out rough timber with an average length of 5 to 6 meters, precisely when customers need the wood for use. We use special forklift forks to enable length storage. In addition, our warehouse offers excellent space for this specialization.
Unloading or loading a container or trailer with long-length lumber is a discipline of its own. We have put in place the right conditions to make that possible.

ADR shipments Transporting hazardous materials is not something you can simply arrange. ADR consignments are bound by strict ADR regulations, which can quickly become complicated. As soon as a container with goods arrives at the port of Rotterdam, we pick it up, arrange payment with the shipping line, and handle customs clearance. Then we drive the container with our truck to Roosendaal, after which we take over the stock management. Transport to and storage in the Netherlands (and vice versa) come together optimally through us. We are happy to fulfill that need at RFT Logistics.
